What is the Wealth Rotation System?

The Wealth Rotation System (WRS) is the economic model powering the SAMBO platform.

The WRS is designed to keep more economic value circulating within the participating ecosystem by connecting members, businesses, suppliers and services.

Its long-term “Shop Where You Own” concept is designed to create opportunities for eligible member activity to contribute toward participation in ownership, including potential participation in JSE-listed investments through appropriately regulated structures.

“Shop Where You Own” is the future ownership concept of the Wealth Rotation System.

The intention is that eligible member economic activity within the ecosystem — everyday shopping, services and participation — can contribute toward potential participation in ownership over time.

Any ownership participation, including potential participation in JSE investments, will be offered only through appropriately regulated structures and is subject to applicable laws, regulation and eligibility requirements.

Members hold one multi-business account across participating services and businesses, so everyday economic activity is recorded in a single member record.

Over time this framework is intended to support member economic participation and, subject to applicable regulation, potential participation in ownership opportunities including JSE investments.
